We want to connect art from around the world and make it accessible to everyone who loves and appreciates art. smallcollector is an open, friendly home for 10 × 10 cm original artworks: many small, individual pieces coming together to create something bigger. There's no gatekeeping and no vetting hoops: if you make things, we'd love to hear from you.
And of course, you won't just be a name on a canvas: every artist gets featured on our site, with your own profile and the story behind your work, so collectors get to know the maker too.
Our philosophy
Many small pieces,
one bigger picture.
That bigger picture is literal: collectors get a specially designed frame that holds up to 100 individual 10 × 10 cm canvases. We're developing the frame ourselves, and collectors will be able to purchase it alongside the artworks they collect.
We're currently in the middle of bringing smallcollector to life: collectors can already join our waitlist, while our first artists are starting to create their pieces.

How it works
You create the art. We take care of the rest.
Tell us how many
Let us know how many canvases you'd like to start with, anywhere between 5 and 30 pieces. There's no fixed number, so start small or dive into a larger series.
We send the canvases
We post the blank 10 × 10 cm canvases straight to you, so that's one less thing to sort out.
Make your pieces
It's completely up to you: create whatever feels like you. No creative guidelines, any medium that lives on a small canvas. Each piece is an original, one of one.
Send them back
Once your artworks are finished, send the canvases back to us.
We list & sell
We photograph each piece and add it to the smallcollector shop. From there, we take care of everything else, including sales, packaging and shipping to their new collectors.
